Last week our First and Second Year Boys Basketball teams got their seasons underway. For our First years it was the first time for many to play in an organised game of basketball, and for our second year teams it was their first game at the highest grade of Irish schools basketball due to the promotion of the school to the “A” grade in May.
Our first and second year B teams got the week underway with home games against Críost Rí on Tuesday and had some fantastic performances for players in their debut games. On Friday the “A” teams played Patrician Academy of Mallow and again, while coming out second best, put in some really great performances. Well done to all who began their CPB basketball journey and we will no doubt see huge improvements from game to game.
