Mr Curran’s TY3 geography class had a lesson on American Culture on Tuesday morning from former San Diego High School teacher John Ratajkowski and San Diego businessman Robert Romero. The pair described how they grew up together, one White and one Hispanic without problems even though they came from very different backgrounds. They fear that today the shift in American politics has made it difficult for children of different races to mix. The transition years students enjoyed the talk and engaged well with the speakers.
