Geography Field Trip
Manch, Ballineen – Friday 20th September
On Friday 20th September eighteen Leaving Certificate Geography students went to Manch, Ballineen with their teacher Miss O’ Connor to conduct their field work project.
The field work project is worth 20% of the Leaving Certificate Geography course at both higher and ordinary level. The project involved trying to prove that transportation and deposition were taking place on the river at Manch.
It was a beautiful day to be outside and while the river was quite low at the chosen field site, they still achieved the results that they were hoping to find.
