On Thursday 3rd April Class 1 Fionnbarra together with their Geography teachers Miss O Connor and Miss Murphy went on a fieldtrip around Bantry town to investigate how rocks are being used in the local area.
The students identified the different rock types being used for several buildings around the town and for headstones at the graveyard in the Abbey. In class afterwards student created graphs and charts to show how rocks are being used in the locality.
