Seachtain na Gaeilge took place in Coláiste Pobail from the 3-17th March. Over the course of the two weeks the students took part in céilís, quizzes, board games and poster making competitions. Ms. McElhinneys 5th Year group also wrote and performed their adaptation of the Leaving Cert story ‘An Gnathrud’ which they performed for 5th and 6th year students. It was an excellent production. The 6th Year students also enjoyed a sraith pictiur workshop to help them with their upcoming orals which they enjoyed thoroughly. Our transition year students visited Deerpark residents and sang some Irish songs for them.
