On Thursday October 17th, our senior boys faced off against Coláiste Choilm in the Mungret Cup. The seniors put up a great fight in the first half but Colaiste Choilm came through with 3 tries. Bantry came back into the game and Charlie Cronin scored a try with a great assist from Daniel Coughlan. Conor Bignell scored the conversion.
In the second half we had some amazing tackles from Daniel Ward followed by 2 tries with great assists from Adam Gilman Burke but Colaiste Choilm kept the fight up and got 3 tries in the second half. Bantry never gave up and put up a great defensive effort. The final score was 17-38 to Colaiste Choilm. Well done to both teams for a very entertaining game!
