On Wednesday April 9th 2014, three mini company groups participated in the Bank of New York Mellon, Cork Chamber of Commerce and UCC joint Business Project Awards ceremony. There were 45 project submissions mainly from Munster and South Leinster schools. The project involved writing a 1500 essay on their mini-company experience. The three companies from CPB were Paws, West Cork Student Discount Card and Taste of Bantry Cookbook.
The companies did not receive any of the three main awards but all companies received a participation certificate. The ceremony was held in the Aula Maxima in the college and the students were addressed by the President of the college, Dr. Michael Murphy. The ceremony concluded with a reception and all students received a goodie bag from the college.
