On Thursday our TY students, Daisy, Aoife, Lainey, David and Ethan made a presentation to Keohane’s Seafood. Over the past number of months these students got a tour of the factory and a member of the Keohane’s Seafood team, John Milner, helped the students to work on a project on biodiversity and sustainability in the Sheep’s Head area. In the presentation they made recommendations to Keohane’s Seafood to develop a garden area outside their factory which promotes biodiversity and sustainability as part of the Sheep’s Head Special Area of Conservation. The students learned a lot about their local area and environment whole working on this project. We would like to thank John Milner and all at Keohane’s Seafood for this wonderful opportunity.
