Colaiste Pobail Bheanntrai, played host to Ballyvourney on Friday 18th October in the U/16 and U/19 grades of the Basketball Ireland, Boys Post Primary Schools South Division Championships.
First up were the U/16s where Bantry continued their impressive start to the season with a convincing win on a scoreline of 31-12.
This match was followed by the U/19 game, where Bantry were playing their first game of the season. However there were no signs of rustiness as Bantry raced into an early lead and were 18-5 ahead by the end of the first quarter. This lead was never really threatened and the team continued to pull away from their opponents, finishing up with a 27point win on a scoreline of 55 points to 28.
