This Wednesday we celebrated the newest members to the Coláiste Pobail Bheanntraí community – our first-year students who joined us in September with a Ceremony of Welcome. . This was a very nice reflection and acknowledgement of the new stages that these young people have embarked on and of the diversity among the group. It was respectful and inclusive of people of faith, different belief systems and no faith offering a time and space for reflection , inspiration, and advice for the journey ahead in CPB. The centrepiece was a collection of the fingerprints of all our first-year group which we will hang in the school in coming weeks and which form part of their graduation ceremony in five/six years. The ceremony was created by Marie Murphy the School Chaplain and was attended by Canon Paul Willoughby, Fr. Myles McSweeney and Mr David Ross.
