To mark National Tree Week 2024 starting next Monday the 4th of March, Mr. Ó Donnabháin will be organizing a competition for students, each day for the whole week.
Every morning, he will post up a question on the notice board outside the Woodwork room L0/33.
Students can get the competition paper slips from a box outside L0/33 into which they fill out with their name, year and answer and place into a separate answer box outside L0/33.
There will be a draw every lunchtime with the winner announced in the afternoon. There will be lots of fun prizes to be won including trees!!
There is also an information board which will be placed at the front entrance of the school with lots of fun facts and interesting information relating to trees along with a different tree of the day for the whole week.
There will also be tree planting taking place on the school grounds throughout the week by students from the different Wood Technology classes.
