On Friday 27 February Coláiste Pobail Bheanntraí played Coláiste Ide agus Iosef Abbeyfeale in the U 15 Munster Colleges Hurling Championship in Killarney.
In extremely muddy conditions CPB fought hard throughout the game and a goal in the last minute from corner forward Michael Cronin sealed a 5 point win.
Centre back Cormac O’Connor had an outstanding game in defence, Thomas Flynn covered all over the pitch and midfielder Eoin O’Donovan scored all of the teams 6 points (5 frees).
Goals from Joe Daly, Luke Cato and James Crowley meant that CPB progressed to the second round with a score of 4-6 to 3-4.
