On Tuesday April 28th Coláiste Pobail Bheanntraí’s U19 Ladies won the Senior County Final v Boherbue in Kilmurry. It was a very physical game with Bantry playing the faster football and opening the scoring against a strong wind.
All the hard work and training the girls have put in all year was telling on the day as their fitness carried them through. This is a fantastic achievement for the girls who already reached the Munster final earlier in the year.
Captain Emilie Murphy accepted the cup on behalf of the team. Final score on the day was CPB 6-7 Boherbue Comprehensive 4-3.
